The average height of a mountain gorilla is 1.7m . An adult male gorilla is taller than the adult female .

An adult male when standing reaches a height of 5.5ft while an adult female reaches a height of 5ft

Gorilla trekking rules and regulations

children below the age of 15 years are not allowed to trek

A group of eight people only is allowed to visit a gorilla family per day

People with transmittable diseases are not allowed to trek gorillas

Noise making is prohibited during trekking because gorillas can be threatened

Cleanliness should be maintained to avoid spreading diseases to gorillas

Donot cut down  any vegetation because you would be destroying gorilla habitat.
