Day 1 – Transfer to Bwindi
On day one of your 4 Days Uganda Gorillas and Wildlife Safari, you are picked up very early in the morning by our guide and transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will briefly stop by the equator, a line that separates the Northern and Southern hemispheres of earth for photography and coffee, drive to Mbarara for lunch and then proceed to Bwindi Forest for an overnight. Overnight at Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge for slumber and Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge for comfortable and shoestring. Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2 – Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
This day of your 4 Days Uganda Gorillas and Wildlife Safari, you head out to the forest to visit Uganda gorillas. It is the day you bond with your long time cousins in an experience that should last for a full hour. However, gorilla tracking has a meeting as one of the requirements and this meeting takes place at 0730 hrs. You have to reach the park headquarters before 0730 hrs for a 30 minutes pre-briefing meeting where you shall be allocated into groups and then head to the forest to look for Mountain Gorillas. This activity can last somewhere between 2 to 8 hours depending on how long you take to find these primates inclusive of a full hour encounter. After trekking you will head back to the lodge for lunch and then transfer to queen.
You will drive through the Ishasha sector of Queen whilst viewing animals such as the tree climbing lions as you head to your lodge. Day 3 – Wildlife Viewing
On day three of your 4 Days Uganda Gorillas and Wildlife Safari, you rise to an early morning breakfast and drive to the Kasenyi Area of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a thrilling wildlife viewing experience. From here you will see a lot of animals like Elephants, Antelopes, Bushbucks and more. You will then return to your lodge for lunch and head for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon, an adventure that will reward you with sights of hippopotamuses, crocodiles and more mammals along with various species of bird life. Day 4 – Transfer to Kampala
After breakfast, you will get set for a long journey. On this day of your 4 Days Uganda Gorillas and Wildlife Safari, you transfer back to Kampala with several stopovers along the way for more optional visits. You can also choose to make another stop at the equator if need be. When you reach Kampala, you will either choose to be dropped at your hotel for an overnight stay or rather transferred to the airport to catch up with your flight back home.
