Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
Meet your company driver, who will warmly welcome you to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa, and provide a briefing on the highlights of this 15-day safari. Transfer from Entebbe Airport (EBB) to Kampala for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
Depart Kampala for Murchison Falls National Park, located in northwestern Uganda, a 5-6 hour drive.
Take the Luweero-Gulu highway with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking, a 2-hour experience, before continuing to Masindi for lunch.
Arrive at Murchison Falls National Park for an overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 3: Full Day Safari in Murchison Falls National Park (Game Drive, Boat Cruise & Top of the Falls Visit)
After breakfast at the lodge, enjoy a guided game drive along the northern circuit, lasting 2-3 hours or more.
In a 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, expect sightings of African bush elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, warthogs, oribis, Rothschild giraffes, hartebeests, birds, and palm-dotted landscapes.
After lunch at the lodge, take a 2-3 hour boat cruise in the afternoon.
Along the way, spot hippos, basking Nile crocodiles, and birds as you cruise toward the base of Murchison Falls.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Embark on a 7-8 hour drive to Kibale Forest, the Primate Capital of the World, for a chimpanzee trekking adventure.
Depart early and stop for lunch in Fort Portal before reaching your destination.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Swamp Walk
After breakfast, proceed to the Kanyanchu Visitor Center for a briefing on chimpanzee tracking. Treks in Kibale are conducted in groups of six with a park guide. Besides chimpanzees, Kibale National Park is home to 13 primate species, 375 bird species, and other wildlife.
Following lunch at the lodge, continue to Bigodi Swamp for a guided nature walk lasting around 2 hours. Here, you’ll encounter a variety of primates, birds, and other wildlife. Then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 6: Game Drive & Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, enjoy a guided game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, particularly the Kasenyi Plains. This 2-3 hour excursion may reveal lions, buffaloes, elephants, leopards (if lucky), antelopes, birds, and more.
After lunch, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll observe hippos, crocodiles, aquatic birds, and other wildlife.
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a gorilla safari park located 4-5 hours from Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Driving through the Ishasha sector offers the chance to see tree-climbing lions and other species in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 8: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Depart from your lodge in Bwindi for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules in Buhoma or another designated sector.
After being assigned a gorilla family, begin your trek, which may last 2-6 hours.
Explore Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to encounter one of the 20 habituated mountain gorilla families.
Day 9: Transfer to Entebbe
Drive from Bwindi via Kabale, Mbarara, and Masaka to Entebbe, with packed lunch for the journey. Stop at the Equator for photos and a water experiment.
Day 10: Entebbe to Kisumu, Kenya
Have breakfast and transfer to Entebbe Airport for a flight to Kisumu. From Kisumu, proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, where you’ll witness flamingoes, other birds, and diverse wildlife.
Day 11: Lake Nakuru – Full Day Wildlife Encounter
After a morning tea or coffee, embark on a guided game drive through Lake Nakuru National Park.
Expect to see leopards, lions, hyenas, antelopes, birds, and more.
Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing with wildlife sightings.
Day 12: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve with a stop at Lake Naivasha to view wildlife.
Continue to Narok County, arriving at your lodge in the Maasai Mara for evening relaxation.
Day 13: Full Day in Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, spend a full day on a guided game drive and experience the wildebeest migration, with around 1.5 million wildebeests, plus thousands of zebras and gazelles.
The game drive includes a bush lunch.
Day 14: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
After a morning game drive, depart the Maasai Mara and drive to Nairobi, where you can relax or take a brief city tour.
Day 15: Departure from Kenya
Enjoy breakfast, then transfer to the airport in Kenya. Check in early for your flight, marking the end of your 15-day safari adventure.
