Day 1: Pick-Up from Kigali and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon arrival, your tour driver-guide will welcome you and conduct a briefing, outlining the expectations and highlights of this incredible Uganda and Tanzania safari.
You’ll then head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, known for its dense forest, which is home to nearly half of the world’s endangered mountain gorillas, as well as other species such as birds and large mammals.
Arrive in the evening and transfer to your lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Adventure and Batwa Experience
The day begins with a briefing at the park offices, where you’ll learn about park rules, the primates, and their behaviors.
You may also hire porters to assist with carrying any extra luggage. Afterward, enter the forest to begin the trek, where you might encounter animals like red-tailed monkeys and elephants, among others.
Once the gorillas are located, you’ll spend an hour observing them in their natural habitat, watching as they play, groom, nurse their young, and go about their day.
After this memorable encounter, return to the lodge.
After lunch, visit the Batwa community in the nearby village for a cultural experience, including traditional dances, music, storytelling, and demonstrations of natural fire-making.

Day 3: Transfer to Kampala with a Stopover at the Uganda Equator
Depart from Bwindi in the morning for Kampala, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way. Stop at the Uganda Equator for a magical experience and photo opportunities.

After lunch, continue to your hotel in Kampala.
Day 4: Fly to Arusha, Tanzania, and Transfer to Serengeti National Park
In the morning, fly to Arusha, Tanzania, where your tour driver-guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to Serengeti National Park.
