Gorilla trekking takes  about 6 hours as tourists are searching for mountain gorillas.

Do exercise

Doing exercise is a very beneficial thing because it enables one to be physically fit as they prepare for the trek . Considering engaging in activities such as walking, running, yoga , rock climbing among others

 

Fueling the body

Trekking requires a lot of energy thus tourists preparing for a trek are advised to fuel the body . This involves eating small frequent meals , plenty of water to increase your energy levels.

 

 

Set your pace

Trekking is not a competition among trekkers , you must set a pace that’s comfortable to you . Setting your pace enables you to maintain your energy levels.

 

 

Remember to use walking poles

Walking poles enables the teller not to exert a lot of pressure on the opposite leg . This encourages appropriate hiking thus a great experience.

 

Practice walking with your backpacks

The backpacks includes items such as snacks , water , clothing , cameras etc some tourists are not used to such and some back packs may be heavy .

It’s appropriate to choose a backpack that makes you comfortable.

 

 

Find the right foot wear
