- Gorilla Trekking: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a premier destination for gorilla trekking worldwide. The park is home to around 20 gorilla groups across four sectors: Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga, and Nkuringo. Since the lodge is located in Buhoma, the main sector for gorilla trekking, it provides easy access for tourists to start their trek. Gorilla families in Buhoma include Mubare, Habinyanja, and Rushengura. Tourists are allowed one hour with the gorilla species, with a maximum of 8 people permitted to trek a specific group per day. The cost of a gorilla permit is USD 800 per person per trek.

- By Air: Tourists can book a domestic flight from Entebbe or Kajjansi Airfield to Kisoro Airstrip, then take a car transfer to Bwindi Forest Lodge.
