Gorillas are majestic gentle Giants with broad shoulders and chests , tough hands , small hands and very friendly gestures.

They stay in families led by a dominant silverback that sees the protection and well-being of the family.

Gorilla trekking is an adventurous activity in which tourists move in groups of eight in search for a gorilla family to trek for an hour after acquiring a gorilla permit.

It is important to put into consideration that gorillas are closely related to humans with 98.3% of their genetic component being closely related to humans making them very close cousins.

Dry season is also known as peak season . During this season, gorilla trekking permits are very scarce due to high demand and therefore it is very advisable to book your permit and prepare for the trek 3-15 months ahead of the trek.

Peak season or dry season is feature with less or little rainfall adding more spices to the trekking experience.

During this time , vegetation shed off their leaves due to less rainfall which makes it easier for tourists to view mountain gorillas and other primates and birds any time of the day and take the best and most vibrant pictures.
