The Kashasha River Trail is one of the hiking trails in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It leads tourists from the Buhoma sector to the Nkuringo sector.
The Kashasha River Trail is one of the most challenging trails to walk through because of its hilly terrain. The trail is about 17 km long and requires 6 to 7 hours of hiking.
While hiking, tourists will have a chance to spot various mammal species such as chimpanzees, baboons, buffaloes, bushbucks, elephants, duikers, and mountain gorillas. They can also see bird species such as the Ruwenzori turaco, black kite, hornbill, and others.
Tourists will be led by a well-armed park ranger to protect them against dangerous wild animals.

Best Time for Hiking
