Airstrips/Airports Near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – There are only two airstrips near Bwindi, and they are managed by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority. These airstrips mainly connect tourists visiting Uganda for gorilla trekking to Bwindi.

Kihihi Airstrip is located in Kanungu District, southwestern Uganda. This airstrip is suitable for tourists visiting the Buhoma sector of Bwindi.
Two domestic airlines operate flights to Kihihi: AeroLink Uganda Ltd and Fly Uganda. It takes approximately 1.5 hours to fly from Entebbe International Airport to Kihihi Airstrip, followed by a 40-minute drive to the park.
