Lake Mulehe Safari Lodge is located on the shores of Lake Mulehe, 10 km along the Kisoro-Rubuguri Road and 25 km from the southern gate of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the endangered mountain gorillas.

- Gorilla Trekking: Gorilla trekking is the main activity, with Bwindi offering 20 gorilla groups open for trekking. Tourists are required to secure permits in advance. Trekking begins in the morning to maximize opportunities to observe these magnificent creatures playing and feeding. The cost of a permit is approximately USD 800.
- Golden Monkey Trekking: Golden monkeys are another fascinating primate species that tourists can explore in the rich Bwindi forest, where they can be observed playing and foraging.
