The best time to visit Bwindi is during the dry season when it is easier to navigate the trails. The dry months are June to August and December to February.

How to Get There

Tourists can drive for about 10 hours from Kampala or Entebbe via the Kampala – Masaka – Mbarara – Kabale route to reach the Buhoma sector and then connect to the lodge.

Those who prefer air travel can fly from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airfield to Kisoro Airstrip and then proceed to Buhoma to reach the lodge.
