Rwanda is the newest addition to the list of African countries with the big five game animals following the reintroduction of eastern black Rhinos to Akagera National Park in May 2017 after a 10 years absence. Among these big five game animals include the Cape Buffalo, Rhinoceros, Lions, Leopards and Elephants that can all be viewed from Rwanda’s only wildlife destination, Akagera National Park. This short 3 days Akagera wildlife safari will let you watch these big five animals plus a lot more on the Savannah plains of Akagera NP at unbeatable prices. Briefly, the “big five animals” is a term used by poachers to refer to the animals that turn out to be the hardest to hunt on foot.
This 3 days Akagera wildlife safari begins and ends in Kigali City, highlights three game viewing activities, a boat cruise on the magical Lake Ihema for sights of crocodiles and hippopotamuses plus a Kigali City Tour highlighting visits to various cultural sites.
