Nshongi Camp
Nshongi Camp is located in Rushaga sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park a habitat of the endangered mountain gorillas
The camp is found at a few minutes walk from the Uganda Wildlife Authority head quarters and gorilla trekking starting point
Nshongi Camp is a budget accommodation facility with scenic views of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park .
Nshongi Camp comprises of 6 traditional African bandas with cozy and comfortable rooms fully equipped with modern amenities for an impeccable stay after gorilla trekking .
The traditional bandas comprises of double beds , private bathrooms , beddings , mosquito nets , bed lamps , hit showers , private verandas , flush toilets , table and chairs

There is a Camping area at the lodge and guests can carry their own tents as they blend with nature.

Gorilla trekking is the main activity in the park and tourists trek in the four sectors of the park .
Bwindi has 20 gorilla families available for trekking . Some of the gorilla families include ; Nshongi , Busingye , Bweza , Mishaya etc
How to get there
Nshongi Camp is found 340 km from Entebbe international Airport or Kampala city . Tourists will travel by car from Entebbe or Kampala for about 10 hours and then head to Rushaga and connect to Nshongi Camp.
Other tourists can also use air transport from Entebbe international air port or Kajjansi air field and land at kisoro air strip and then head to the lodge by car.
By and large Nshongi Camp is affordable by almost all tourists and offers safe stays on a gorilla safari.
