Buhoma Haven Lodge
Buhoma Haven Lodge is located in Buhoma sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park a home of the endangered mountain gorillas .
Bwindi Impenetrable has about 459 gorilla individuals half of those that are remaining in the wild making it a major destination for gorilla trekking by tourists worldwide .

The lodge comprises of 6 double / twin cottages , slef contained tents , 3 self contained cottages , 2 non self contained bandas , 1 family cottage self contained and 6 bed dormitory .
The rooms were con using local materials revealing the true African building style .

Activities
Gorilla Habituation
Gorilla Habituation is when gorillas are trained to be used to human beings . A group of 4 people are allowed to vist the gorillas and this activity costs about USD 1500 per person . The people are allowed more than 4 hours with the gorillas.
Gorilla trekking
Gorilla trekking is the major activity in Bwindi and this makes the park the major destination for tourists worldwide . A gorilla permit costs USD 700 and it starts with a briefing to under the rules and regulations .
Tourists are allowed to trek in the 4 sectors if the park that is Rushaga , Ruhija , Nkuringo and Buhoma.
Birding
Birding is one of the major activities in Bwindi along side gorilla trekking and tourists have chance to explore them in their natural habitat .
Bird species include ; Doherty’s bush shrike , black billed turaco , shelley’s crimsonwing , handsome spurfowl , Rwenzori batis , brown capped Weaver among others.
