Day 1 – Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and head straight to your accommodation for dinner and overnight, as you prepare for a thrilling mountain gorilla tracking experience the following day.
Day 2 – Gorilla Trekking and Departure
Start the day with an early morning breakfast and head to the park headquarters to catch the 7:30 AM briefing.
It is essential to be attentive during this meeting, as important facts, rules, and precautions are explained to guide you through the trek.
Feel free to ask any questions you might have. After the briefing, you will head into the forest, accompanied by armed rangers, to search for the endangered mountain gorillas of Bwindi.
This exciting activity can last between 2 to 8 hours, depending on how quickly the gorillas are located, and includes one full hour of close interaction with the gorillas.
