CTPH Gorilla Conservation Camp is a 3 star hotel located in Buhoma village a passage to Bwindi impenetrable National park for gorilla trekking.
CTPH Gorilla Conservation Camp is the most budget recommended lodge in Bwindi giving stunning views of Bwindi impenetrable Forest .
The Camp started operations in 1993 when Bwindi impenetrable National Park ws open for gorilla trekking and it was changed to Gorilla Conservation Camp in 2008 when it was acquired by CTPH.
The Camp ha CTPH Gorilla Research Clinic Which works effortlessly with Uganda Wildlife Authority and Bwindi Community Hospital to reduce spread of diseases between people and gorillas .
The camp comprises of 3 tents built in African style with 2 beds each and a new guest house with 4 self contained rooms and 2 more tents plus camping space .

How to get there
By Road
Tourists will drive from Kampala or Entebbe to kabale or Butogota town where they connect to Buhoma region and then head to the lodge .
The entire trip takes about 10 hours
By Air
Tourists will book a flight from Entebbe or kajjansi air field and fly for about 1 hour to kisoro air strip where they can be picked at request and a fee is charged snd head to the lodge.
Activities
Gorilla trekking
Gorilla trekking is an experience so memorable being that it connects tourists to the gorillas as they explore their behaviours and habits . Tourists first of all will book a gorilla permit at Uganda Wildlife Authority and then head for briefing where there given rules and regulations for a peaceful and enjoyable trekking experience.
Gorilla habituation
Gorilla habituation is when gorillas are taught to be used to humans and not all families are open for this activity but Uganda wildlife Authority has opened some families such as Mubare family , Habinyanja family , Rushengura family ,and jatwe gorilla family
Bird watching
Bird watching can be carried out at different spots of Bwindi impenetrable National park .
Tourists experience Birds as they sing and fly in the trees .
Bird species include ; handsome francolin , Regal bird , kivu ground thrush etc.
